About

DevilFish Robotics is a student run organization whose mission is: (1) To take the knowledge we gain in classrooms and apply it to learn new technical skills; (2) Gain hands-on experience from practicing systems engineering, as well as, competing at national and international competitions; (3) To open up opportunities for students to find internships, fellowships, and careers; (4) To spread the message of science, technology and engineering via outreach to the community.

Club members learn the fundamentals of underwater robotics design from veteran club members and analyzing industry designs. We compete in the National Underwater Robotics Challenge (NURC) and we are looking forward to adding fully autonomous capabilities and competing in the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) RoboSub Competition. We focus on several areas such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science. We welcome all majors and anyone interested in hands on learning in science and engineering with a focus on robotics.
