About

The AI Society at ASU is the university’s premier student-led organization dedicated to fostering knowledge and driving innovation in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Our mission is to make AI education accessible to all ASU students, regardless of their background or major. We achieve this by offering a platform for students to explore AI through workshops, tutorials, and hands-on projects.

· AI MakerSpace Program: Our signature initiative provides members with hands-on opportunities to work on impactful AI projects, mentored by experienced peers. It’s a launchpad for innovation, technical growth, and real-world experience.

Accomplishment

AI MakerSpace Launch: Debuted in Spring 2025, the AI MakerSpace welcomed over 150 registered students and supported approximately 15 student-led AI projects in its first semester. It’s become the foundation of our hands-on learning approach.

Club Growth: Grew to over 350 active members, establishing itself as one of ASU’s most dynamic tech-focused student organizations.

Invited Speakers: Hosted guest talks from professionals at Intel, Google DeepMind, and more, offering members firsthand insights into cutting-edge AI research and careers.

Innovation Hack: Co-hosted a campus-wide AI hackathon alongside two other student organizations, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and creative AI solutions.
