Society of Water and Environmental Leaders (SWEL)

About

SWEL is an organization for students with an interest in water or wastewater industries, water resources professions, or other environmentally-focused professions. SWEL is a chapter under AZ Water, which provides resources to learn about the industry and explore pathways to pursuing careers in these areas. By participating in professional workshops and hearing from those in the industry, students will better their understanding of careers in environmental engineering while engaging with their peers.

Accomplishments

We are proud to have built our club from the ground up with the establishment of the environmental engineering degree program at ASU. Additionally, we recently established SWEL’s presence at the AZ Water 98th Annual Conference and Exhibition in Phoenix, AZ in April of 2025.
