About

ColorStack ASU is a chapter of the national ColorStack organization, dedicated to increasing the number of Black and Latinx students in tech by building community, providing mentorship, and creating career opportunities. At ASU, we focus on fostering a supportive environment where students of color can thrive academically and professionally. We host hands-on projects, study jams, and technical workshops, and connect members to internship opportunities through national partnerships. Students can attend major conferences like AfroTech and ColorStack Summit, compete in hackathons, and network directly with recruiters from top companies. What sets us apart is our commitment to building a tight-knit, empowering community where you’re not just a number—you’re seen, supported, and set up to succeed in your tech journey.

Accomplishments

ColorStack ASU has made significant strides from 2020 to 2025, earning recognition for its commitment to supporting Black and Latinx students in computing. The organization has facilitated connections with over 150 corporate partners, including Adobe, Dropbox, NVIDIA, Wells Fargo, and Netflix, providing members with valuable networking opportunities and pathways to internships and full-time positions. Notably, ColorStack ASU hosted a company meeting with Adobe, offering students insights into the company’s culture and career opportunities. Through these initiatives, ColorStack ASU continues to empower students to excel in their academic and professional endeavors.
