About

The ACM Student Chapter at ASU® (ACM at ASU) is chartered by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the world’s largest computing society, established in 1947, with over 100,000 members worldwide. ACM supports the professional growth of its members by providing opportunities for life‐long learning, career development, and professional networking.

ACM at ASU leverages and extends these opportunities, curating resources, activities and events focused on networking, learning, mentoring and knowledge-sharing, in the form of discussions, forums, symposia, conferences, competitions, collaborations, publications, literature, workshops and tools.

As each of our hosted events occurs, simultaneously, in Tempe and Online, membership in ACM at ASU is open to all ASU students from around the world.

Accomplishments

In our first semester: Held academic, industry and special interest area career exploratory events. Supported student attendance in multiple conferences. Hosted guest speakers from Amazon and Microsoft. Established programs for supporting student participation in ICPC and SRC.
